About Commissioner John Reidelbach

John is passionate and proud of Coweta County and looks forward to the opportunity of being part of our county’s solutions, not only in District 4 but throughout the county.  Transparency and communication are key to the successful development of our county.  I don’t want to occupy the Commissioner’s seat.  I want to serve for the betterment of my district and county. 

John is a resident of District 4 in Coweta County where he has resided for approximately 30 years. He moved to the Midwest for two years and then returned to the same neighborhood, Shoal Creek Forest.

Family Oriented

John has been married to Denise Brucker Reidelbach for 33 years and they have four grown children, Norman serves as a Police Officer in Sandy Springs, John II serves in the US Army, Megan a local Coweta business owner and Olivia a stay at home mother and wife.

John’s educational background includes degrees in Engineering, Technical Education and an MBA. John worked with the Department of Defense, as a contractor for 12 years before entering the healthcare industry where he has been a consultant for the past 26 years. John’s wife, Denise, an EMT for ten years working in both Coweta and Fayette counties, currently works at Cancer Treatment Center of America in Newnan.

John has been actively involved as a volunteer in Coweta County. He served on the Board of the Coweta County Chapter of the American Red Cross, for 12 years, as a volunteer, finance chair, vice chairman and chairman. His wife, Denise, was a volunteer and served as the disaster chair for many years alongside John with the Red Cross. John and Denise have been volunteers with the Newnan Coweta Boys and Girls club. He also was a volunteer and co-founder of the Newnan Coweta Citizens Emergency Response Team (CERT), receiving certification in the first class to complete the training.

John served 6 years as treasurer and fiduciary for Arlington Christian School in Fairburn, Georgia.
